Individual and small group lessons are available for all Year levels. The program is designed to build confidence and to suit the student’s specific needs, talent and interest.

 All of the Primary School Speech and Drama students are encouraged to participate in the Somerset Festival for Young Performers in individual, pairs or small group sections. 

All Students have the opportunity to participate in the Murwillumbah Festival of Performing Arts and the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.

Students who complete AMEB examinations in Voice and Communication or Drama and Performance in Fifth Grade or above while in Years 11 or 12 are able to have the results on their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).

Lessons are ½ hour and are held each week except the first and last week of the school year.

Cost for small group lessons – up to 4 students – is $100.00 per term per student. 

Cost for individual lessons is $150.00 per term.

Students wishing to take Speech & Drama lessons are asked to provide an exercise book that is then brought to each lesson. The pieces that they are working on will be placed in this book as well as any accounts (usually the 2^nd lesson of the term), receipts and any other notes from the teacher.
